Manager, Business Development
Job Purpose
Your job will encompass developing business proposals from conceptualisation through implementation, and monitoring the competitive landscape for strategic insight and opportunity development. You will oversee partnership projects, including negotiations, development and execution of the partnership agreements. You will also be part of the SMRT Experience Plans team to strategise and plan for the business unit.
Responsibilities
You should have diverse experience in business advisory, particularly in business development and your responsibilities include:
- Explore, establish and maintain partnerships and new business opportunities
- Formulation and implementation of business strategy
- Realise and execute the new business / partnership - Work with relevant authorities on required permits, approvals, etc
- Analyse data to plot trends and spot opportunities for business growth
- Contribute and organize plans development
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Preferably 3-5 years working experience in a strategic business development role with a proven record in partnerships with tangible returns
- Degree in Business Management, Economics or related field
- Experience in financial modelling would be an advantage
Skills
- Keen understanding of business research, risk and audit matters
- Assertive, meticulous and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Good analytical with writing and presentation skills
