Intern, Joint Readi
Job Purpose
The intern will work with the Joint READI department, which specializes in kaizen technique for work processes and develops a variety of solutions for engineering challenges. The intern will assist in the documentation of audit reports, railway standards, guidebooks, and policies, as well as engineering article writing for internal and external distribution.
Responsibilities
1. Support colleagues with a variety of project-related tasks, including: a. The railway standard committee's working group. b. Projects within the department.
2. Assist the corporate audit with a variety of tasks, including gathering evidence for auditing objectives, maintaining the issue and findings registry, and maintaining the policies and procedures registry.
3. Lead and build effective administrative systems and processes that aim to improve existing arrangements, such as departmental electronic folders/data storage. Lead and manage the audit registry in department. Effective managing of reports and findings, able to trace and recall reports for reporting purpose with auditing system in mind.
4. Manage the content of the major corporate calendar of events and activities, ensuring that it is always up to date, such as Kaizen day, seminars, and the IES dinner.
5. Building up digitalization capability, opportunities to learn Power app and sharepoint web mentoring by SMRT executive.
