Manager, Kaizen & Organisational Excellence
Job Purpose
The Manager, Kaizen and Organisational Excellence will oversee the Trains Kaizen performance and ensure organisational excellence in the Company.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and report Trains Kaizen performance.
- Random verification of Trains project submissions especially those with high savings.
- Engage staff via various channels and events e.g., video clips sharing; showcase projects via Kaizen @ Workplace.
- Organise and facilitate Kaizen Awards.
- Harmonise L1 in Kaizen through Kaizen Reps Meeting, to actively promote the culture of Kaizen and Organisational Excellence.
- Administrator for Kaizen portal, PowerBi, Kaizen Workplace.
- Secretary for Kaizen Rep Committee monthly meeting.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Skills
Technical skills include:
- Good understanding of Kaizen methodology and Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Knowledge of PowerBi would be an advantage.
Generic skills include:
- Possess a pleasant and cheerful disposition with good interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
- Exhibit passion in continuous improvement and have the ability to drive changes to achieve Kaizen culture.
- Able to work under pressure and exhibit excellent analytical skill.
- Able to multitask on a few initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage interaction within internal media platform.
