Manager, Marketing - Trade (Stellar Ace)
Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager determines the most appealing features of their products and promote them to prospective and current customers by supporting the Sales and Product teams.
He/ She will be given all the product knowledge and relevant data libraries to properly market them and to inform customers of their value and benefits. Conduct thorough research on competitors and performing market research to understand what consumers look for in pricing, bundles and product USPs is key to differentiate our products with our competitors.
He/ She needs the decision-making skills to determine the appropriate pricing and bundling strategy that will achieve our sales goals. Having the analytical skills and foresight will be key to assess the existing customer base and how effective existing marketing strategies are.
Oral and written communication skills are essential and key for the role to relay the product info, sales packages in social and print materials for a definitive go to market trade communications.
He/ She need to have good project management skills with time sensitivity in mind to coordinate schedules and meet project content deadlines. Also needed is the mathematical skills to help establish an appropriate budget and monitor expenses.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and execute Stellar Ace’s marketing plans to meet business objectives
- Execute the development of data, pricing and bundling of product/ services for the marketing of new and existing products and projects.
- Deliver optimum sales pricing and packages In line with competitive landscape and raise awareness and drive lead generation through social media & digital initiatives, events, activations, and PR
- Support business development and provide product innovation point of view by collaborating with key business stakeholders and driving research and validation initiatives
- Manage all budget/expenditure to follow the organisation’s procurement policies
- Execute projects, creative ideas, and solutions to implement major changes to the customer experience of external stakeholders
- Analyse new market trends, business opportunities, customer lifecycles and market segments in global and local landscape
- Analyse past performance of projects and campaigns to improve Return on Investment (ROI) in tangible and intangible ways
Qualifications & Work Experience
Qualifications and experience include:
- Preferably 10+ years of experience in marketing in a B2B and B2C environment.
- Strong client facing and communication experience internal organisation and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical executive level audience.
- Experience in pricing strategies for media assets, couple with data justification and market research.
- Experience with planning using quantitative techniques, campaign management and supporting technologies
- Ability and willingness to hands-on execution role where required to support client needs and team development
- Relevant experience in the Media & Digital marketing industry, from an agency/ client/ mediaowner perspective in both the online to offline environment will be advantageous
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Marketing or a related field
