Manager, Training Standards - TEL
Job Purpose
Reporting to Branch Lead/Head, PDO, the Manager, Training Standards, is primarily responsible for ensuring that the curriculum meets the organisation requirement and is align with both SkillsFuture and Workplace Learning Framework. The Manager is expected to maintain a high level of learning standards with good governance of its processes.
Responsibilities
- Review TNA to ensure that it meets needs of stakeholders.
- Manage curriculum to ensure that it meets SMRT Policies, STEL Operating Procedures, Work Instructions as well as any other safety/ security-related requirements.
- Manage the accreditation of training programmes according to the current skills framework (SFw).
- Manage and oversee instructional designs to align it to the National Workplace Learning Framework.
- Drive pedagogic innovation and leverage on new technology and media to create engaging and effective learning experience in support of Worker 4.0 initiative.
- Oversee quality assurance of training programmes and evaluate learning effectiveness.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- A recognised Degree in a relevant discipline.
- DACE-certified or its equivalent with good knowledge and understanding of the SkillsFuture framework and WSQ accreditation process.
- Six years of curriculum development or training experience in railway or public transport industry.
Skills
- Experience in Adult Education Instructional Design and OJT Blueprint development.
- Experience in developing synchronous and asynchronous learning models.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Articulate or Vyond is an advantage.
- An independent, pro-active, creative and collaborative team player with excellent people’s skills.
