Project Lead, HRIS (2-year contract)
Job Purpose
This role will be responsible for driving transformation and innovation in the HR digitization effort. You are responsible to lead and drive the HR-related projects from conception through to delivery as well as post-implementation support for the organization. The role oversees a team responsible for:
- Developing and executing the overall project plan and analyzing project proposals which impacts the schedule and budget variance which in turn contribute to meeting the overall objectives of the project.
- Tracking the quality, scope, timeline, effort and resources (includes business, contractor, Professional Services resources as well as operations).
- Identifying and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with IT Project Manager for all project deliverables e.g., support, systems implementations and improvements, and report regularly against the project plans to ensure visibility of project progress
- Act as Project Lead for key milestones throughout all project phases - analysis, testing, change management, cutover, post-go-live
- Partner with internal stakeholders in driving process harmonization across multiple teams
- Ensure project governance as appropriate and ensure documentations, requirement and functional specifications, design document, project check list, User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and flow diagrams are delivered in the desired quality
- Ensure overall data integrity and accuracy and collaborate with HR team to implement and improve business processes
- Spot potential problems, recognize the risk impact and propose risk mitigation strategies
- Provide updates to steering committee meetings, senior management and stakeholders
- Manage overall system technology budget
- Manage and lead the HRIS project team
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Human Resource Management and Analytics, Business Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in delivering HRIS and HR Domain projects in SAP SuccessFactors and/or Workday
- Knowledge in human resources, payroll, benefits discipline to ensure HR best practices and compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and proven levels of hands-on experience in systems integration, vendor management, project methodologies and training
- Familiar with implementation of Cloud HCM solutions will be advantageous
