Senior / Manager, Contracts Management

Job Purpose

The Contracts Management Senior / Manager shall be accountable for the performance of the executed Contract and provide advise and direction to ensure the Contract benefits can be materialised.
The Contracts Management team serves to:

  • Consolidate technical contracts shares across Lines.
  • Monitor and report contract performance.
  • Review contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance to SMRT Trains’s Policies and Procedures.

 

Responsibilities

The Contracts Management Senior / Manager reports to the System Management Line Head, and the Contracts Management Branch Manager. His/her roles and responsibilities include the following areas:

    1. Overview of contracts. Oversee and accountable on the Consolidate technical contracts that are shared across Lines. Review and endorse the Contracts.

    1. Contract Listing and Performance Review.  Maintain overall contract listings and review performance review report.  Report findings and provide suggestions/recommendations as After Action Review (AAR).

    1. Contract terms and conditions. Endorse the Contract to ensure the Standard contract forms are applied. Seek Legal endorsement for any deviation.  

    1. Compliance to SMRT Trains’ Policies and Procedures. Ensure Contracts are executed in compliance to SMRT Trains’ Policies and Procedures.

    1. Contract Methodology and Approach. Strategize the Contract Methodology and Approach to ensure the deliverables could be met.

    1. Any Other Tasks Assigned.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Management or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge in Contract Lifecycle Management or Project Management.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Business Management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Legal terms.
  • Capable of professionally manage confidential information.
  • Must be a team player and self-initiated.
  • Able to work under broad direction.
  • Meticulous and diligent.
  • Able to manage expectations.
  • Keen to learn new knowledge.
