Senior Manager, Employee Engagement

 

Job Purpose

 

To lead in company enterprise level employee engagement with focus on culture building and internal communication. Senior manager Employee Engagement works to ensure employees are kept informed and motivated. This is done through the design and development of internal communication strategies for the company. This is done by communicating through several channels, such as a staff intranet, email circulars, social media and leaders’ interactions.

 

He/she should preferable be creative in crafting internal communication messages with a good command of English and savvy with social media platforms especially Workplace® by Facebook that complement the Employee Engagement strategies and efforts. His/Her role includes planning campaigns/projects/events, analyzing metrics and identifying trends to facilitate evidence-based proposals/intervention/action plans for culture building. He/she should preferably have strong analytical thinking and system thinking competencies. In addition, if he/she has strong EQ and strong organizational ability, it would help greatly in facilitating networking with the business units to drive the necessary initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop diverse communication channels, e.g. intranet, social media, print, digital screens, email as the appropriate means for communicating with staff depending on the nature and context of different communications. 
  • Deliver communications tailored to different internal audiences in such a way that the message can be communicated most effectively to specific stakeholder groups. 
  • Support new projects by providing specific and timely information to enable the company to engage stakeholders and bring about change in an effective manner. 
  • Create a framework of clear and effective employee communications on a broad variety of topics to create a sense of shared purpose that is relevant to the working lives of all staff.
  • Provide communication tools and content to the company’s managers to develop a culture based on a consistent two-way flow of information. 
  • Provide clear and effective communication in response to crisis or emergency situations to reassure and guide staff.
  • Plan, implement and monitor internal engagement campaigns inclusive of contents for Workplace® by Facebook. 
  • Design and oversee all aspects of the digital platform including data analytics.
  • Curate digital content related to HR that are suitable for social media platforms.
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect our platform’s traffic, service, key performance indicators and target audience.
  • Prepare accurate reports on effectiveness of our HR related collaterals/ circular/ contents/ campaign etc.
  • Work closely with advocates to ensure the consistency of the implementation efforts.
  • Manage company social and recreation club committee matters and events. This includes the planning, administration and executing of the annual work plan to organize corporate-wide activities. 

Qualifications & Work Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal communication related position.

  • Creative and fluent writing skills.
  • Creative with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and team player.
