Senior Manager (CCL HQ, Innovation & Resource Office)


Job Purpose

  • Joining SMRT which is a learning organization that recognizes the importance of building our People’s capabilities, equipping them with knowledge and experience to do their jobs better; he/she will work in close partnership with the CCL Senior Management, Union Leaders and headquarter office function Leads.
  • Independently steer and inspire CIRO Team to develop strong relations, instill collaboration and grow Community Builders for effective staff engagements.
  • Professional, innovative with systems thinking and a service culture, he/she will drive business excellence and commit to a sustainable future that balances environment, social and governance goals.


  • Create a conducive team environment to nurture creativity, develop staff and deepen their expertise to improve overall work performance. Maintain an open culture braced by regular, appraisal feedbacks for enhanced work experience.
  • Organizes finance budgets and costs effectively to fulfill role of a ‘financial gate-keeper’ and well-versed with the Financial Procedures Manual (FPM).
  • Every staff in Circle Line is responsible for their own as well as their Team’s Safety. Staff shall uphold the CCL Safety Mission and 3 principles to complete tasks, perform duties, fulfil the goals of the organization, and adhere to the individual roles and responsibilities. Develop and explore ways to support and sustain the safety culture of CCL as a Zero Harm Workplace.
  • Groom the Next Generation Leaders; organize, monthly Leaders-In-Action focal groups with CCL Senior Management to coach, guide and understand the challenges faced by the future leaders in their respective areas of work.
  • Guide, coach and conduct monthly sessions to induct staff to better assimilate into CCL transformation culture.
  • Sustain and support our key assets, Staff to arrange, plan and deliver Corp initiatives.
  • Develop and explore ideas to improve traffic at Workplace and to utilize it as one of the platforms to improve staff engagement, communication and collaboration within CCL Division and work towards an engaged and committed work force.
  • Promote, encourage, and track Kaizen for continuous improvements
  • Work closely with the corporate communications, commuter engagement teams to coordinate learning journeys. This helps to engage with community stakeholders and strengthen commuter engagement relationship. 
  • Explore the transfer of Access Management System’s to Operations to administer, manage and process access applications
  • Assigned by KCD Premise Owner as premise custodian for CCL HQ (B1-069) to take care of the facility and serviceability of equipment within to ensure the safety and security of its residents. Attends monthly WSH meeting or assign a representative.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
  • 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Financial literacy preferred and knowledge of SAP and Maximo will be an advantage.
