Talent Acquisition Manager
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for the delivery of the Talent Acquisition (TA) plan in support of Business Units in the SMRT Group. You will be in charge of developing, implementing and executing the hiring strategies of the SMRT Group in order to source and hire from Singapore and around the world. You will drive the talent acquisition sourcing including candidate mining on LinkedIn, lead the interviews and calibrate requirements with the business as needed. Key deliverable is to ensure prompt recruitment of talents and to ensure the Business Units have the right people in the right roles.
Responsibilities
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and work closely with the business to attract the best talent possible, to deliver great quality service to hiring managers and drive excellent candidate experience. You will be the subject matter expert to provide top notch acquisition support to the assigned business units. Your role will include but not limited to:
- Work with business stakeholders and HR business partners to understand and plan for appropriate fulfilment strategy to meet requirements.
- Manage and execute the recruitment process from job requisition and job advertisement to offer acceptance.
- Screen and select candidates from the applicant pool.
- Ensure proper interview and selection process and timely hire.
- Be aware of the latest job market trends and apply innovative means to expand the pool of suitable candidates including candidate mining online, cold calls, employee referrals, job fairs etc.
- Develop and ensure KPIs with respect to talent acquisition – speed to hire, cost management etc – are monitored and managed.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree with at least 8 years of relevant hands-on HR experience, especially in talent acquisition be it in-house or through agencies.
- Proven work experience in a similar role in a large, multi-business organisation or in an RPO arrangement.
- Experience recruiting with mass recruitment for bargainable staff and overseas recruitment would be advantageous.
Skills
Technical skills include:
- Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. Boolean search in LinkedIn) to identify & engage passive candidates
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases. Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- Good knowledge of labour laws and legislations in Singapore
