Assistant Engineer, R152A
Job Purpose
The Assistant Engineer (R152A), Projects is responsible to assist the Engineers in the project implementation of Full Hight Platform Door upgrading program. You will manage the appointed Contractor in the installation, inspection, testing & commissioning and decommissioning work at the Stations and Tracks.
Responsibilities
1. Able to perform night shift.
2. Ensures that workplace is safe to start work / safe to resume operation.
3. Facilitate the installation, testing and commissioning and decommissioning works in stations, FHPSD/Plant Rooms and trackside.
4. Attend station/trackside site survey and ensure safety at site.
5. Support the handover of station equipment to Maintenance.
6. Monitor and ensure all necessary isolation works.
7. To carry-out the role of PIC and PM duties and responsibilities
8. To complete the necessary reports for the task at hand
Qualifications & Work Experience
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• Preference for candidates with previous work-related experience in railway installation and supervision works would be an advantage.
