Branch Manager (CCL, Operational Engineering)
Job Purpose
To provide engineering solutions to CCL Maintenance branches to deliver high systems availability and reliability. The work scope spans across reliability engineering, technical document development and review, and contract management for all CCL organic maintenance branches.
The manager shall lead a team of approximately 5 engineers in carrying out the job scope. Beyond working closely with CCL organic maintenance branches, he/she is required to also liaise with SMRT Train agencies, and Land Transport Authority (LTA) and also contractors to achieve the job scopes described.
Responsibilities
- Lead an Investigation Team for peculiar defects and major disruptions
- Carry out Defect, No Fault Found (NFF), Can Not Duplicate (CND) Rate and Reliability Trending and Monitoring
- Ensuring Defect Closure and Review of failure mode and maintenance actions
- Manage and Review Work Instructions (WI)/Work Records (WR) (Corrective, Preventive and Overhaul Maintenance)
- Validation & Verification of New/Changes to Engineering Instructions (EI)/Engineering Records (ER) & WI/WR
- Review of Relevant Technical Documents (Design Acceptance Review (DAR), Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures)
- Development of new maintenance capabilities, technical proposals for reliability optimization
- Coordinate with LTA and SMRT Centre of Excellence (CoE) for engineering/technical issues
- Collaborate with Project Team for project issues
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Telecommunications Engineering
- Preferably with at least 5 years of work experience in supervisory position in maintenance organization with involvement in material management or training management
