Deputy Head, Woodlands Depot

Job Purpose

The Deputy Head, Woodlands Depot, will be providing comprehensive support to Head Depot in overseeing the smooth operation of designated bus package and lead the depot and interchange team in the absence of Head Depot. He/ She will also be responsible to ensure all regulatory requirements are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Head of Depot in overseeing the smooth operation of the Depot and Interchange
• Ensure all Operations and Safety SOPs are strictly adhered to
• Monitor and ensure smooth operation in deployment of AM and PM duties by Starter Office
• Work closely with Human Resource on staff management
• Ensure a safe workplace through adherence of Workplace Safety & Health Act and its Code of Practices
• Ensure Fire Safety and Security measures are adhered to
• Ensure all facilities and amenities within Depot & Interchange/s are properly maintained
• Manage contingency plans to ensure business continuity
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications & Work Experience

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree
• Relevant experience in a similar environment, preferably in transportation industry

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret financial and operations performance
• Possesses Class 3 driving licence

Generic skills include:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Possess good leadership skills
