Digital Growth Specialist (Contract)
Job Purpose
We are seeking a resourceful and hands-on Digital Growth Specialist to support WINK+ app’s expansion through merchant acquisition, digital marketing execution, day-to-day operations, and administrative coordination. This is a hybrid role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about digital ecosystems and growing businesses from the ground up. This role also requires technical competency to manage app backend operations, perform updates, troubleshoot issues, and support collaboration with the tech team.
Responsibilities
1. Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify, approach, and close new merchants for listing and campaign participation.
- Build strong relationships with merchant partners and maintain ongoing communication.
- Manage onboarding process including registration, deal setup, and training support.
- Track merchant performance and gather feedback to optimise future campaigns.
2. Identify New Business Opportunities
- Proactively identify and propose new business ideas or partnership models that align with app growth objectives.
3. Digital Marketing & Campaign Support
- Assist in executing digital campaigns across social media, and in-app placements.
- Support content creation and scheduling for merchant promotions and user engagement.
- Monitor campaign KPIs and help prepare reports and dashboards for internal reviews.
4. Operations, Platform & App Support
- Liaise with internal teams (product, tech, design) to ensure that all content and promotions go live smoothly.
- Support merchant and user queries related to voucher redemption, promotions, or listings.
- Manage content update updates and configurations via the app’s backend system (e.g., CMS or staging tools) for promotions, listings, banners, and campaign flows.
- Perform basic technical tasks including QA testing, UAT support, and app content deployment.
- Troubleshoot and document app issues, conduct root cause checks, and work closely with the tech team to resolve bugs.
- Maintain app accuracy by ensuring backend data entries and logic (e.g., voucher logic, merchant tagging, user flows) are correctly implemented.
- Coordinate with tech team for bug reporting and follow-ups on app fixes or enhancements.
5. Administrative & Documentation Work
- Maintain and update merchant records, contracts, and promotion forms.
- Prepare presentation decks, reports, or promotional assets as needed.
- Handle finance and administrative matters and file organisation.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field with Diploma in Information Technology OR Degree in Computer Science, or related field with Diploma in Business, Marketing, etc.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in partnership or business development with some experience in marketing.
- Hands-on experience in both operational and marketing functions.
- Exposure to cross-functional projects and innovative campaigns.
- Flexible in adjusting to different working hours.
- Bonus: Knowledge of F&B platforms in Singapore.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Canva or basic design/video tools a bonus.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and content creation and video platforms (e.g., Figma, Canva, Capcut, etc).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive team player with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Interest in food, lifestyle, and tech-driven platforms is a plus.
