Duty Officer, Sentosa Express
Job Purpose
Overall responsible for service delivery under his/her shift and acting as Point of Contact for Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC).
Responsibilities
- Act as Point of Contact for SDC for operation-related matters and incident handling.
- Perform site supervision for the entire operations team to ensure that all operations.
- Take responsibility for the management of Operation Command Centre (OCC), Train, and Station Operations.
- Take responsibility for train service delivery and train service performance indices.
- Provide leadership and motivating staff.
- Provide guidance to staff for incident control and recovery.
- Implement strategies to improve service level and control cost.
- Prepare contingency plan for business continuity.
- Conduct investigations into service disruptions or incidents and submit incident reports.
- Conduct incident reviews and draft lessons learned as part of knowledge sharing for staff.
- Conducting exercises and drills to maintain a high standard of competence; ensure staff are competent and qualified for their respective roles.
- Submit reports on system performance.
- Require to perform 3 rotating shifts including weekends and Public Holidays. Working location at Sentosa.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Recognized Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in transportation industry / OCC operations will have an added advantage.
Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- An analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability.
