Job Purpose
The Engineering and Management Associate (EMA) Programme is SMRT’s graduate programme which will provide a structured pathway for those who aspire to make a difference as engineering leaders.
Your journey begins with a one-month foundation programme, followed by structured development, specialised training and varied opportunities leading to professional accreditation. Your development will be further enhanced through our comprehensive 'Triple E' Development Framework - (1) Education, (2) Exposure and (3) Experience, designed to nurture and develop capable and talented individuals for future leadership positions in the company.
Responsibilities
Job Purpose: To support revenue projects (both maintenance and project) to meet contractual requirements. In addition to the project implementation, the incumbent is also required to conduct technical investigation and study. The key areas of focus include multitasking on various projects from tender preparation phase which include preliminary design, resource management, system quality control and assurance, and project implementation strategy and deliveries to meet timelines and budgets.

Coordinating, monitoring, liaison with various parties on project work activities
- Organize, lead and update project status and progress
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective action
- Comply to company policies, quality standards and safety procedures
- Design review design proposals which covers document, drawings, processes and procedures submitted by others
- Participating in project tender submission and clarification
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Rotate to Fare System Maintenance team and provide technical and engineering support to the maintenance team

Responsible to ensure the timely completion of all duties and/or projects, as assigned

- Degree in engineering discipline (preferably in Electrical and Electronic or Mechanical or Software / Computing Engineering)
Technical Skills
- Good analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Understand project management and information management
- Engineering system and financial accounting
- Good understanding of RAMS, FMECA, QC/QA process
- Software programming skills
