Executive, OCC Support
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, Operations Control Centre (OCC) Support, the Executive, OCC Support will perform various duties to support safe and efficient train operations in OCC.
Responsibilities
- Develop train service timetables to meet passenger demand for daily operations.
- Develop event-specific train service timetables to accommodate the passenger demand as anticipated or projected by event organisers.
- Monitor operational and performance indices, and report to relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
- Analyse data trends to identify potential operational gaps and areas of improvement.
- Develop and review operating plans, procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain document database to ensure accurate records of documents and revisions.
- Facilitate audits, ensuring that regulatory standards and operational procedures are adhered to.
- Support operations team during rail incidents, which includes the conduct of post-incident reviews.
- Drive improvement projects in the spirit of Kaizen.
- In addition to the above base roles and responsibilities, the Executive, OCC Support shall undertake department-level duties to support the overall management of the safe and efficient running of the railway.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Engineering discipline.
- Familiar with Operations Control Room environment will be an advantage.
