Executive, Procurement System

Job Purpose


To support the Category Manager and Procurement Director in driving performance and excellence within the department.

 

Responsibilities


Sourcing

  • Responsible for eCommerce performance including sourcing, pricing, content listing, on-site visibility and traffic generation.
  • Manage reporting of e-commerce orders and projected savings. Evaluate purchase trends and form meaningful conclusions to facilitate strategic decisions.
     

Performance

  • To optimise the performance and operation of the procurement team through data and modelling. 
  • To build databases and dashboards needed to monitor key aspects of the procurement team with an early warning system.
  • To setup other metrics and reporting systems as required to provide data support for procurement decisions / reporting / strategies.
  • Identify process weaknesses, high-risk segments and actively look for optimization opportunities through case studies and modeling.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and training modules based on the relevant procurement systems.
  • Develop a training framework and monitor training progress of the procurement team.
     

Systems

  • Provide first line support (functional support, guidance, and training) for users on procurement systems.
  • Consolidate system issues which could be data, process, configuration, or integration related.
  • Partner with the IT team to improve and optimize current procurement systems.
  • Support the IT development team in the evaluation, testing and adoption of any new systems.
  • Continuously develop and test RPA processes to drive automation of procurement processes.
  • Work with the IT team to deploy RPA solutions.
  • Support RPA processes in production, including monitoring, consolidating issues and working with IT on possible solutions

 

Qualifications & Work Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computing or Procurement related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a procurement or category management role.

 

Skills


Technical skills include:

  • Experience working with Ariba and SAP (MM functionality).
  • Experience working with Power BI and Power Automate. 
  • Any experience with UiPath would be an advantage.
  • Advance spread sheet experience and analytical capabilities.
     

Generic skills include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven ability to conduct training and develop effective presentations.
  • Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with various stakeholders across different departments and vendors.
