Executive, Senior Executive, Service Campaigns (Digital Platforms)
Job Purpose
This role requires strong expertise in managing digital platforms, including the SMRT Connect app and corporate website, ensuring a seamless user experience and alignment with service campaign goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mobile app development concepts, web management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Mobile App Management (SMRT Connect):
• Act as the primary liaison between SMRT and the existing vendor to manage the SMRT Connect app.
• Oversee app maintenance, updates, bug tracking, and feature enhancements with the vendor to ensure the app meets user and business needs.
• Monitor app performance using mobile app analytics tools, gather user feedback, and work with the vendor to implement improvements.
• Ensure the app aligns with SMRT’s digital strategy and service campaign objectives while providing a seamless user experience.
2. Corporate Website Management:
• Manage the corporate website, ensuring regular content updates and alignment with SMRT's objectives.
• Collaborate with IT and design teams to enhance website functionality and improve the user experience across devices.
• Implement responsive web designs and SEO best practices to optimize the website's performance.
3. Project Management:
• Manage end-to-end projects for mobile app and website enhancements, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Develop and monitor timelines for both mobile and web projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
• Manage budgets, ensuring projects are delivered cost-effectively while meeting high-quality standards.
4. Ad hoc Duties:
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mobile App Development, Web Design, IT, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in managing mobile apps or working with development teams.
• Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and concepts (iOS, Android).
• Experience with mobile app analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) to monitor performance.
• Experience managing websites, including CMS platforms such as WordPress, and ensuring responsive web design.
Skills
1. Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and platforms (iOS, Android), including the ability to communicate effectively with developers and vendors.
• Proficiency in using mobile app analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or other monitoring solutions to track app performance and user engagement.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
2. Project Management Skills:
• Experience managing the development and lifecycle of mobile apps or digital platforms, with the ability to coordinate app updates, bug tracking, and feature releases in collaboration with external vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
3. Communication and Collaboration:
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise between internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
• Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate project progress, updates, and concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to incorporate feedback and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions that meet both business and user needs.
