Executive, Staff Wellness Programmes (6-Month Contract)

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Manager (HRBP), you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of SMRT Trains’ organisation-wide wellness and weight management campaign targeted at employees across stations, depots, and operational units. You will also drive programme operations, employee engagement, onsite activities, vendor coordination, communications, and reporting to ensure smooth implementation across a large and shift-based workforce environment.

Responsibilities

1. Programme Coordination & Operations

  • Support the end-to-end coordination and execution of the organisation-wide wellness and weight management campaign
  • Assist in programme registration, scheduling, participant tracking, and operational coordination
  • Coordinate onsite weigh-in and measurement activities across stations, depots, and operational sites
  • Support after-office-hours and shift-based engagement activities where required
  • Ensure smooth operational execution with minimal disruption to frontline operations
  • Support event setup, logistics coordination, attendance management, and programme administration

 

2. Vendor & Wellness Programme Coordination

  • Liaise with appointed vendors, wellness coaches, and external partners on programme delivery and scheduling
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, health talks, fitness sessions, and engagement activities
  • Support the setup and administration of wellness platforms, dashboards, and tracking systems
  • Monitor programme timelines, participation rates, attendance, and deliverables
  • Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and issue resolution

 

3. Staff Engagement & Communications

  • Support employee engagement efforts to drive participation and sustain interest throughout the campaign period
  • Draft employee engagement communications and marketing collaterals, including emails, posters, presentation materials, and digital content
  • Work with internal stakeholders to disseminate programme communications through digital channels, posters, and operational briefings
  • Support creative engagement initiatives and wellness activities such as:
    • Health coaching sessions
    • Physical activity sessions
    • Mental wellness workshops
    • Peer support activities
  • Maintain high engagement levels across both office-based and frontline operational employees

 

4. Data Tracking & Reporting

  • Consolidate participation and programme data for reporting and tracking purposes
  • Maintain accurate participant records and dashboards
  • Support preparation of updates, reports, presentation materials, and programme summaries for management
  • Monitor programme participation, engagement trends, and attendance statistics
  • Ensure proper handling of employee data in compliance with PDPA and company guidelines

 

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with HR, operations teams, station representatives, communications teams, and vendors to support programme implementation
  • Coordinate scheduling and operational arrangements across multiple locations and shift patterns
  • Serve as a key coordination point for programme-related matters and ground engagement activities
  • Build positive working relationships with stakeholders across different workforce groups

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in Human Resource, Business, Communications, Sports & Wellness, Health Promotion, or related disciplines. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly people-oriented personality with strong interest in employee engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and able to take initiative independently
  • Fast learner with strong adaptability in a dynamic operational environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees across diverse workforce groups
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and highly operational environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other design applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Canva etc.
  • Familiarity with event coordination, wellness programmes, social media engagement, or digital tracking platforms would be advantageous
  • Comfortable with travelling across SMRT stations, depots, and operational sites
  • Comfortable with supporting occasional after-office-hours and adhoc engagement activities, including outreach sessions for night shift employees and frontline operational staff
