Executive / Asst Manager, Aftersales
Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales & Aftersales Executive to drive the sales and profitability of automotive parts and services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with suppliers and customers, and ensuring exceptional aftersales service. You will assist the Assistant General Manager, Biz Dev, in ensuring revenue growth and continuous improvement, contributing to the overall success and competitiveness of the company in the automotive parts market.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive the sales and profitability of automotive parts & services.
• Identify and target new business opportunities to increase market share.
• Collaborate with immediate supervisor to develop business strategies that align with company objectives and drive business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality products and maintain competitive pricing.
• Establish system and processes in the Sales & Aftersales businesses.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Strategic Risk, Procurement) on contractual and account-related issues.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a corporate environment, preferably in automotive or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-starter with the willingness to take up new responsibility required by the management.
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in business, engineering or related field will be advantageous.
