Executive / Senior Engineer, Asset Management
Job Purpose
The Executive / Senior Engineer is responsible for development and implementation of asset management processes within the Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) Group. The core focus of the job function will be managing and implementing asset management processes to ensure reliability and availability of operating assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement asset management plans and processes including spares management, alternate parts, and obsolescence management.
2. Work with maintenance branches to establish and maintain a comprehensive database for spares, tools, and other critical equipment for M&E group.
3. Coordinate with branches on spares and materials requisition, including preparation of approval papers.
4. Manage and coordinate applications and requests for any asset modification within the rail network.
5. Coordinate, collate and prepare performance and maintenance plans and reports across the branches for submission to the authorities.
6. Facilitate and coordinate external projects with LTA and/or external parties. 7. May be required to perform work during night hours and over weekends/public holidays.
Qualifications & Work Experience
1. Degree in Engineering discipline.
2. Knowledge of Asset Management and Quality Management standards such as ISO 9000/14000/18000/55000.
3. Prior work experience in the asset management field or statistical process control will be advantageous.
Skills
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
2. Basic knowledge in statistical software is advantageous.
3. Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is advantageous.
