Executive / Senior Engineer, Engineering Performance & Support

Job Purpose

The Executive / Senior Engineer is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Maintenance Management System (MMS) and overall administrator and management of Maintenance Management System (MMS) The core focus of the job will be ensuring proper configuration and maintenance for MMS and continuous improvement of maintenance workflows and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain user roles, data quality and system’s performance.
2. Respond promptly to reported issues. Providing first-level troubleshooting and resolution.
3. Provide user support and ensure system performance monitoring and troubleshoot Maximo-related issues.
4. Perform routine maintenance on MMS.
5. Escalate complex problems to relevant internal teams or vendors when required and collaborate with external contractors to plan and execute corrective maintenance.
6. Monitor system performance and faults and maintain MMS software and hardware infrastructure.
7. Coordinate and support LTA/Contractor’s scheduled project work activities.
8. Develop custom reports and dashboards to track and report on the effectiveness of maintenance interventions and the resulting improvements in asset performance.
9. Facilitate audits conducted by internal auditors, the authority, and other external agencies.
10. Facilitate and coordinate external projects with LTA and/or external parties.
11. May be required to perform work during night hours and over weekends/public holidays.

Qualifications & Work Experience

1. Degree in Engineering discipline.
2. In-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo Asset Management Platform.
3. Understanding of IT infrastructure, databases and integration methods,
4. Hand-on experience with hardware installation, replacement and configurations.
5. Understanding of corrective maintenance workflow and contractor management.
6. Experience with database management (SQL Server) and analytical tools (Power BI, Qlik).
7. Prior work experience in railway industry will be advantageous.

Skills

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IBM Maximo Asset Management
2. Proficiency in written communication and developing procedures.
3. Knowledge in network architecture, servers, endpoints, and peripheral systems that support maintenance platforms.
4. Competent in installing, replacing and configuring hardware components such as workstations, controllers, access points and communication devices.
