Head, Operations & Business Planning

Job Purpose

The Head, Operations & Business Planning will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations and maintenance of various advertising assets across our extensive network in Singapore. Additionally, the incumbent will lead business planning efforts to drive strategic growth initiatives and optimize revenue opportunities. Reporting directly to the COO, Stellar Ace, the Head, Operations & Business Planning will undertake the responsibilities for the operational status of all the assets (including the integration with the various software) to ensure the deliverable from the business angle. He/she would need to continually improve the overall system to ensure the operational status of the assets is future ready. 

Responsibilities

1.    Leadership and Team Management:
•    Lead, guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster a high-performing and cohesive team environment.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment of operational goals and objectives.

2.    Operations and Maintenance:
•    Lead in Stellar Ace Outdoor in supporting the set-up of the operations for cleaning and maintenance of the bus shelter advertising panels, and the installation of new advertising panels
•    Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
•    Engage with the regulatory agency on necessary operations reporting and coordination efforts related to the advertising assets

3.    Vendor Contract Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors responsible for operating and maintaining retail properties within our network of rail stations.
•    Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and performance standards.
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for revenue generation and enhancement of customer experience within retail properties.
•    Ensure project management related to operational aspects to all business contracts, are adhered

4.    Business Planning & Strategy:
•    Lead the development and execution of business plans to drive strategic growth initiatives and optimize revenue opportunities.
•    Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modelling to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's competitive position and achieve long-term growth objectives.

Qualifications & Work Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
•    Proven experience of 8-10 years, in operations management, business planning, and strategy development, preferably within the transportation, advertising, or retail industry.

•    Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to advertising, retail operations, and business planning.
•    Demonstrate willingness to gain in-depth understanding of functional areas when necessary, complementing strategic oversight and effective problem-solving
