IT Engineer (6 Months Contract)

 

Job Purpose

The IT Engineer (6-month contract) will support our Maintenance PC Operations team to ensure our endpoint systems remain secure, compliant, and fully operational without disrupting daily business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly Windows Patch Management: Assist in deploying, testing, and verifying monthly Windows updates across client endpoints to maintain system stability and compliance.
  • Antivirus & Security Updates: Monitor and ensure Microsoft Defender (and other enterprise security agents) definitions are updated across all devices.
  • Software Installation & Deployment: Perform standard and customized software installations,upgrades, and troubleshooting for end-user workstations.
  • General Operations & BAU Support: Support day-to-day desktop maintenance tasks,hardware/software troubleshooting, and endpoint provisioning.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS administration and client-side troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of endpoint management concepts, patch deployment, and enterpriseantivirus (Microsoft Defender).

Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
