Lead Controller, Integrated Maintenance Control Centre (IMCC)
Job Purpose
Integrated Maintenance Diagnostics Centre (IMDC) is a 24/7 maintenance operations centre which coordinates the conduct of maintenance activities for the sustainment of North-South, East-West Line and Circle Line.
Based in Kim Chuan Depot, the Lead Controller directs a shift of maintenance controllers to guide and control rolling stock, signal & communications, building & facilities, and permanent way maintenance activities. The Lead Controller serves a critical role interfacing with the Rail Operations Control Centre to ensure SMRT Trains delivers safe and reliable train service.
Responsibilities
- Directs maintenance cells to control maintenance activities and provide situational updates and status inputs to Control Ops.
- Review alerts and diagnostic information from critical infrastructure condition monitoring systems and ensure that the correct maintenance response is executed.
- Be conversant on incident response standard operating procedures, contingency plans, and ensure the time execution of maintenance response.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of system readiness and maintenance reports.
- Lead table-top and ground-based exercises to ensure maintenance readiness for various crisis recovery scenarios.
- Support Trains Management Meetings
Qualifications & Work Experience
- At least 10 to 12 years of experience in managing operations
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering
- Ability to work on rotating shift: 0700 to 1400hrs; 1400hrs to 2300hrs; 2300 to 0700hrs
