Manager, Leadership Development

 

Job Purpose

 

The main purpose of this role is to design and deliver high-quality and relevant interventions to address the development needs of SMRT’s leaders and build organisational culture.

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive the implementation of leadership development strategies, policies and processes that align with the company’s immediate and long term strategic initiatives
  • Partner key stakeholders across the organisation to analyse leadership development needs
  • Manage a portfolio of initiatives, programmes and projects to support leadership capabilities, develop talent, build and drive organisational culture 
  • Influence and work with stakeholders for successful implementation of capability development and culture building initiatives
  • Develop and execute the communications that will shape and build the leadership culture
  • Guide employees in adoption of learning tools
  • Design and implement leadership development programmes, curating content across different platforms and solutions
  • Project manage programmes from design, communications, implementation and assessment to meet people development needs 
  • Manage the procurement and administrative tasks of solution implementation

Qualifications & Work Experience

 

  • Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in organisation development, leadership development as well as HR business partnership

Skills

 

Technical skills include:

  • Possess strong project management and analytical skills
  • Understand learning design with experience in curation, design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development programmes
  • Experience in utilising digital technologies in the context of learning, and developing e-learning will be a plus
  • Experience in competency development and assessment tools

 

Generic skills include:

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to link current and anticipated business challenges with strategic leadership and talent development requirements
  • Experience in crafting compelling communications
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact and influence stakeholders, senior management, and contributors at all levels of the organisation
