Manager, SS Projects

Job Purpose

Plan, manage and deliver safety and security projects for public transport systems, ensuring compliance with LTA requirements, applicable codes of practice, and organisational governance, while supporting safe, secure, and reliable rail, bus and other related operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead end-to-end delivery of safety and security projects across rail stations, depots, trains, bus interchanges, depots and fleets.
• Oversee implementation of safety and security systems such as CCTV, Video Analytics, Access Control, Intrusion Detection and life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with LTA requirements, relevant regulations, standards, and cybersecurity policies.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risks, and change control in accordance with approved governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and external stakeholders including LTA, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, documentation, and handover to operations.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Safety, Security, or Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in safety and security related projects.
• Candidates with good understanding of public transport safety, security systems, and operational requirements preferred
• Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.
• Team player with good communication skills
