Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Job Purpose
Manager, Strategic Partnerships will assist Deputy Director, Licencing, Partnerships & Strategic HR to develop and execute a wide range of corporate and or business visits, events, engagement programmes, and partnership initiatives with internal stakeholders, local agencies and industry partners as well as overseas companies.
This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who is comfortable engaging diverse stakeholders, managing multiple workstreams concurrently, and delivering high-quality engagements that reflect the organisation’s strategic priorities and corporate image. The Manager plays a key role in ensuring that partnerships and engagement activities are well-planned, professionally executed, and aligned with long-term organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Manage initiatives through co-ordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines, and monitoring progress towards objectives.
- Demonstrate agility in addressing unforeseen challenges, including technical problems, conflicts, or sudden changes in plans.
- Develop and oversee realistic budgets, track expenses, and make informed decisions to optimise resources and minimise costs.
- Coordinate with Corporate Shared Services and Trains Management to develop and deliver seamless engagement programmes and events.
- Perform secretariat duties at Board, Management, and Key Stakeholders meetings, ensuring smooth facilitation and documentation of meetings.
- Provide support to other ad-hoc projects, cross-functional initiatives and team members as required
- Contribute to overall team effectiveness by sharing best practices, supporting peak workloads, and fostering a collaborative working environment
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field; professional certification is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operational or management role, preferably with exposure to stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or event management.
- Experience in business planning process in an operational or regulated environment is desirable.
- Ability to think strategically and apply critical thinking to challenges and opportunities. This may involve troubleshooting technical problems, resolving conflicts, or adapting to last-minute changes.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
