Manager, Strides Strategy, Enterprise Risk & Plans

Job Purpose
Reporting to Director, Strides Strategy & Plans, the Manager, Strides Strategy, Enterprise Risk & Plans will assist and be responsible in supporting Strides Holdings Group long-term plans, growth strategy and Enterprise Risk.
Responsibilities
- Strategy planning and monitoring of workplans, budgets and strategic projects
- Assess business risks, develop mitigation plans and monitoring management controls
- Identification, communication, measurement, and management of company-wide risks.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify current and emerging risks.
- Continuously monitor and update the risk registers and appropriate risk tools.
- Prepare and support materials to from Strides Holdings for submission at Audit & Risks Committee
- Continuously monitor and track follows-ups from Audit & Risks Committee till closure. Execute audit checks on Strides Holdings’ subsidiaries to ensure proper governance.
- Support planning, development and execution of corporate development and M&A transactions which will include undertaking market feasibility studies, gather market intelligence, due diligence, research analysis, financial modelling, as well as managing transaction documentations.
- Develop joint-ventures, partnerships and other related opportunities which includes formulating and negotiating terms with prospective partners and preparing bid submissions.
- Creating and presenting regular management reports on the performance of businesses, projects and initiatives and present such information to senior management.
- Aligning and communicating Strides Holdings goals and strategies amongst its’ subsidiaries.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Economics / Business / Strategic Planning or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in Strategy/ Planning/ Enterprise Risks/ Corporate Finance or similar function.
- CFA/CPA (or equivalent) would strengthen the application but is not required.

- Excellent Advanced Excel, Power BI Dashboarding, Financial modelling, and PowerPoint skills
- Highly organized, meticulous and possess ability to analyse/interpret data proficiently
- Critical thinker and possess strong problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and able to multi-task effectively
