Manager, Training - CCL


Job Purpose

The Manager, Operations Training Section, reports to the Senior Manager of the Operations Support Branch.   
The Manager, Operations Training Section is overall responsible for the good conduct of all Ab-Initio Training and Refresher Training of OCC and Station staff.


  • Ensure that all operations staff are both proficient and current in their training,
  • Develop and maintain the CCL Operations Training Framework, including Trainer Certification Framework, Remedial Training Framework, Proficiency Framework
  • Develop and maintain the Workplace Learning framework.  
  • Develop and maintain training assets, in particular, the Cab Sim room 
  • Perform annual reviews (more frequent if necessary) of course content, proposing areas of improvement where necessary.  
  • Lead the Division monthly forum to address all Training matters
  • Supervise the quality of work of the trainers under her charge.  
  • Assist in managing of train service disruption / rail incident as well as major events in stations
  • Assist in any other duties as assigned by the management
  • Concurrent Ops Appointment: CCL RIMP Secretariat
  • Every staff in Circle Line is responsible for their own as well as their Team’s Safety. Staff shall uphold the CCL Safety Mission and 3 principles to complete tasks, perform duties, fulfil the goals of the organization, and adhere to the individual roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in relevant discipline or
  • Diploma in Engineering discipline with relevant experiences
  • ACTA or other training related certification will have an advantage
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experiences in railway industry or public transport operations
