Job Purpose

To lead and oversee Business development role for Strides Engineering for EV and AFC

To drive project delivery by ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory standards.

To participate in tender submissions and business development activities to secure potential projects and expand business opportunities.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities are listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time. 

•    Perform business development and establish industrial contacts and businesses
•    Develop bid strategies, prepare engineering bid submission and approval
•    Coordinating, monitoring, liaison with various parties on project work activities.
•    Plan, coordinate, manage project work to meet project schedules and deadlines.
•    Prepare, review, and submit project documents, technical reports, method statements, work permits, drawings, and progress updates to clients and management on time.
•    Comply with company policies, quality standards and safety procedures.
•    Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
•    Lead and responsible for project quality control and assurance.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline 
•    Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management and a managerial role.
•    Experience in LTA / SMRT projects would be an added advantage.
•    Proven track record in Business Development and delivering projects 

Skills

Technical skills include:
•    Possess project management, information management and creative thinking skills.
•    Good understanding of Engineering system design and application
•    Good understanding of RAMS, FMECA, QC/QA process.

•    Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. 
•    Able to work independently.
•    Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, independent and results oriented driven.
