Operations Specialist (CCL, Innovation and Resource Office)

Job Purpose

This Operations Officer will assist Head, Innovation & Resource Office to plan and organize resources to support the Innovation & Resource deliverables and CCL HQ office functions. He/She will also refresh the experiential safety setup regularly to ensure learnings are realistic and impactful. He / She will also support the team’s collective effort to promote safety, health, and improvement to staff facilities.

Responsibilities

  1. Ability to think on their feet, be resourceful, influential and tap on available capacity by reaching back.
  2. Assume the role of Document Controller Officer (DCO), co-held by Preparation Party (Prepared By), for respective documents prepared within department.
  3. Produce a host of ideas, selecting the best ones and selling them to the other members of the team.
  4. Encourage others to share their ideas and nurturing creativity.
  5. Communicate productively with management and stakeholders to keep them up to date with project milestones.
  6. Produce consistently excellent visual work.
  7. Plan concept by studying information and materials. Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  8. Completes projects by coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
  9. Prepare script and learning materials and complete video recordings of learnings.
  10. Design, and set props/stage to create and refresh setups for experiential safety learnings.
  11. Prepare staff circulars, artworks, and posters for staff communications and signages.
  12. Identify, assess, and compute cost, time, and resources for work plan execution. 
  13. Maintains technical knowledge by reading up articles, attending workshops, and reviewing publications.
  14. Arrange, set up meeting, briefings, venue and ensure learning documentation and participation records are adequately archived.
  15. Plan, organize and track all work activities in the team.
  16. Plan, lead, and organize workplace activities to bond teams and improve camaraderie.
  17. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  18. Every staff in Circle Line is responsible for their own as well as their Team’s Safety. Staff shall uphold the CCL Safety Mission and 3 principles to complete tasks, perform duties, fulfil the goals of the organization and adhere to the individual roles and responsibilities.
  19. Render any other assistance to CCL Senior Management as directed.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  1. Higher NITEC/NITEC from a recognized institution in graphics design or equivalent.
  2. Fluent knowledge of current design tools and software e.g. Photoshop or equivalent.
  3. Good with photography and video making.

Skills

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Confidence to be bold with their work.
  3. Artistic, creative, and has passion for communication through arts.
  4. Background of working well as part of a design team.
  5. Ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts.
