Ops Specialist, Station Project

Job Purpose

Main purpose is to support the Lead, Station Project in the implementation of projects for Station, Train and Depot Operations. Assisting in conducting site surveys, distributing items, sorting and delivering posters, maintaining worn-out signages, take up the SPIC duties when required, plan and prepare RIMP & TSD signages.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the implementation of projects for Station, Train and Depot Operations

   b. Duties and Responsibilities

• To conduct site surveys and inspections, gather data and then collate data for submission

• Distribute to or collect operation signs, store items and equipment from 59 NSEWL stations

• Sort and delivery of various posters. E.g., Events such as F1 / NDP / Xmas / NYE / ECLO to 59 NSEWL stations

• Removal and replacement of elevated HHPSD safety stickers

• Removal and replacement of Prohibition Signs at 59 NSEWL stations

• PIC duties for various signage installation work for 59 NSEWL stations

• SPIC duties when requested by departments within OSD

• Plan and prepare RIMP / TSD signs for 59 NSEWL stations. E.g., Free bus services for leaflets, mega pull-down screens, bus posters, free bridging bus signs, and various TSD signs

• In charge of station store items and equipment. Plan, prepare and replenish stocks

• Conduct site survey, plan and prepare ad-hoc signage requests/events for 59 NSEWL stations. E.g., Events such as F1 / NDP / Xmas / NYE / ECLO

   c. Other Duties / Assignments

• Perform other duties/assignments which are assigned by supervisor(s)

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma in any discipline from a recognized institution would be an advantage.
• Relevant work experience is preferred and able to work independently

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Operational experience in station, train, and depot operations is a plus

• Must be meticulous and attentive to details

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Collaborative and a team player and willing to learn

• Job is mainly office hours, but there may be an instance that requires occasional night works
