Ops Specialist Training Quality
Job Purpose
Check, implement and improve training programs for the Rail Ops staff and Proficiency Assurance Trainers. Carry out audit on the training standards and Trainer’s qualification.
Provide the training outcome and the quality of the trainees/trainers from the Training audits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular Training audit and provide a metrics reporting
- Conduct regular audit, quality assessment on the competency and proficiency of the staff during ab-initio, workplace and OJT trainings and provide a report on the audit outcome
- Analyse effectiveness of current strategies; identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation for all tools and training updates
- Check that all training is delivered to all staff as per the training calendar
- Assist to ensure a smooth and clear transition of new processes from the training team
- Assist in maintaining the knowledge and content management of documented processes
- Conduct postmortem investigation and working with different teams to understand the root caused and provide a report on the investigation
- Any other job assigned by the Manager Training Quality
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Diploma in Engineering / 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Operations and Training is an advantage
- Required ACTA or WTP or NACE qualification to qualified as WSQ Trainer
