Project Administrator
Job Purpose
ChargEco is a joint venture between Strides, a subsidiary of SMRT Corporation, and YTL PowerSeraya, an integrated energy provider. As a leading provider of affordable, reliable, and sustainable electric vehicle (EV) charging services in Singapore, ChargEco has rapidly grown to operate over 500 charging points in less than two years.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our growing operations. Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth coordination, accurate documentation, and efficient administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Support
- Assist project managers in planning and executing EV charging deployment.
- Support the Operation Manager in scheduling charger maintenance cycles and coordinating with contractors.
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor charger maintenance schedules to work is completed according to plan.
- Organize and coordinate project meetings, including preparation of agendas and recording of meeting minutes
2. Administrative & Documentation Support
- Maintain project records, maintenance reports, permits, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Prepare bi-weekly & monthly reports, presentations, and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage procurement processes, including raising purchase orders and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
- Collaborate with the finance team to review and process contractor invoices and payments.
3. Scheduling & Resource Management
- Assist in scheduling site assessments, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor resource allocation, ensuring manpower and materials are available as needed.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project administration, coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, or construction sectors is a plus.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
