Infocomm Project Coordinator

Job Purpose

To provide support for projects on renewal of various system in SMRT stations and depots.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and supervision of contractor works such as laying of fibre optic cable, installation of cable tray, installation and testing of telecommunication equipment 
• Act as an onsite coordinator or person in-charge to provide access for the contractor to work at our stations / tracks and to be responsible for their safe access 
• Ensure rules and regulations are carried out to be in compliance with internal procedures

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical discipline or
• Min 3 years of experience in cabling contractors’ work will be considered
• Safety supervisory cert is an advantage

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with large and diverse teams
• Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be prepared to perform duties at night during non-passenger service hours (2300h to 0700h)
• Must possess good oral and communications skills as well as be able to work independently
