Project Manager, Systems Assurance / RAMS
Job Purpose
Manage, perform, and ensure the activities related to RAMS and safety assurance in the RTS Link Project for OpCO and interfaces with other stakeholders. Deliver safe, cost-effective solutions, fit-for-purpose.
Responsibilities
- Key person on all the Safety Assurance activities on the project as per Safety related process defined in OpCO’s contracts.
- Work closely with the RAMS team from Systems Consultant and Work Package Managers involved on the project to ensure all RAMS milestones are met.
- Oversee all Safety analyses, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective.
- Support tenders to integrate product/system in projects on Safety related matters.
- Lead the tender effort for the appointment of RTSO’s Independent Safety Assessor/Auditor (RTSO ISA) and supervise their work.
- Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases for submission to Grantors and Regulators.
- Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation) defined for the project / system / product. Set-up RAMS performance metrics.
- Organize, attend periodic reviews to the Safety Review Advisory Panel (SRAP) chaired by RTSO CEO and expert panelists from Prasarana and SMRT.
- Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal Safety Assessor and external (ISA) assessors, Independent Verification and Validation Assessor appointed by Grantors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors.
- Support O&M team in their readiness for Trial Operations Pre-Revenue and eventual Revenue Operations.
- Oversee and co-chair the Failure Review Board (FRB) and set up the Failure Reporting Analysis and Correction Action System (FRACAS) during Trial Operations and Defects Liability Period (DLP).
- Oversee the development of RTS Link Safety Management System (SMS).
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in the field of Safety Assurance or similar,
- 10 years successful experience in RAMS/Safety Assurance Management, with at least 5 years of experience in railway industry.
Skills
Familiar with APAD Regulatory requirements and LTA Project Safety Review (PSR) Process.
