RAMS Engineer
Job Purpose
The RAMS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and maintainability of systems and equipment. He/She shall work closely with project teams to develop and implement reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) plans to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of projects.
Responsibilities
- Reliability Analysis: Conduct reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses, including Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Sustainability Analysis: Perform sustainability analyses to ensure systems are designed for ease of maintenance and support.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure systems remain operational and efficient.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, technical publications, and logistics information repositories.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality and procurement teams to ensure cost effective, timely solutions and seamless integration of RAM activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
- Customer Support: Provide support for training to customers and end-users.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Computing or related technical field from a recognized institution.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience
- Good understanding of Weibull Analysis and/or other statistical methodologies
Skills
- Knowledge in Engineering, Data Science, Statistical Analysis or equivalent
- Able to understand mechanical, electrical and electronics designs to work out maintenance tasks requirements with engineers
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to present ideas, approaches, and objectives clearly.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work independently and as a team effectively adjusting oneself flexibly to different work situations.
- Effective organizational and planning skills.
