Rail Service Manager


Job Purpose

As Rail Services Manager (RSM), you play a key role in managing and investigating incidents and emergencies in MRT/LRT system to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient Trains operation.


  • Responsible for the performance monitoring of the Train Captains and assist in the management of Train Operations in accordance with the rules, procedures, and guidelines.
  • During incidents and emergencies, you will respond, conduct investigation, and submit Safety Incident System (SIS) report. Investigate passenger’s complaints and feedbacks, conduct regular checks on personnel protective equipment and Station Manager processing of Track Occupation Authorisation (TOA).
  • Conduct counselling sessions, refresher drills and briefings on Operations Procedures and Work instructions.
  • Attend to visitors/contractors/special groups of travellers visiting the station.
  • Manage Train Captains’ duty schedule and roster changes.
  • Conduct oil spill checks at terminal stations.
  • Required to work on 3 rotating shifts.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience.


  • Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and swift manner.
  • Good spoken and written English is important for investigation and report writing.
