Senior Executive, Investigation

Job Purpose

The Executive / Senior Executive will respond to safety incidents / Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) accidents and conduct independent investigation for Network System Maintenance (NSM).

Responsibilities

• Respond to safety incidents and WSH accidents and conduct investigations.
• Follow-up on Investigations recommendations with respective units until closure.
• Analyse Investigations causal factors and provide regular update to management.
• Conduct regular review of safety investigation related documents and relevant policies.
• Perform secretariat role for major incident investigation.
• Perform secretariat role including preparation of presentation materials for safety and quality related meetings.
• Support safety and quality education programme in NSM.
• Support Head of Department (HOD) in delivering the SQTM Office objectives and work plan.
• Any other related task assigned by reporting officer.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in Investigation role. (or)

• Diploma in engineering or management discipline with 10 years of experience in Investigation.  

• Experience in operations & maintenance or railway industry is preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge in railway operations & maintenance is advantageous.
• Knowledge in WSH Act and its subsidiaries is advantageous.
• Good investigation report writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
