Senior / Executive, Operations Excellence and Compliance

Job Purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Auditor with experience in the public bus transport industry and a foundational understanding of finance. This role involves assessing and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with policies and regulations within our public transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing audit plans.
• Conduct audits focusing on operational processes, compliance, and financial controls.
• Conduct risk assessment and contribute to recommendations for improving controls.
• Verify adherence to internal policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements.
• Document audit findings and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Monitor audit implementation and refine audit processes.
• Collaborate with departments for compliance and control improvements.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Diploma in Compliance and Regulatory Affairs or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in auditing and compliance are welcomed.
• Professional Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA), ISO-related certifications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ISO standards, knowledge of engineering principles, and familiarity with environmental regulations.
• Analytical Skills: Strong evaluation skills, ability to interpret data related to environmental impact, engineering efficiency, and quality management.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex engineering and environmental issues.
