Senior Executive, Plans & Business Execution
Job Purpose
As part of the Plans team in Stellar Ace, you will be supporting and ensuring that strategic, administrative, and operational planning aligns with the overarching goals of Stellar Ace/Stellar Ace Outdoor and SMRT. The team plays a critical role in streamlining processes and driving alignment across various functions and business objectives.
Responsibilities
The Planning Team’s responsibilities include the following key activities:
- Strategic Planning
- Assist the business unit in defining long-term objectives and strategic priorities during the budgeting cycle.
- Ensure alignment with the Board’s guidance, Trains and Roads objectives, and the overall corporate strategy.
- Administrative Planning
- Provide administrative support for approval processes, including Board approvals, funding approvals, and procurement approaches for projects.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and advise on internal processes and policies in accordance with the Financial Policy Manual (FPM) and Procurement Policy Manual (PPM).
- Forecasting and Budgeting
- Support and coordinate with business units to develop comprehensive budgeting plans, including financial forecasts on revenue, costs, resources (CAPEX and OPEX), and manpower planning.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor progress against financial plans and prepare regular reports on performance metrics.
- Report on APIP (Annual Plan Implementation Progress) and ensure timely preparation of monthly updates for business units, Trains, and Roads.
- Contracts & Policies Compliance Management
- Prepare and/or review contracts in collaboration with relevant authorities and/ or business partners to ensure necessary permits and approvals are secured.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and alignment with corporate governance standards.
- Corporate Associates Roles
- Serve as a liaison to provide linkages and clarifications between corporate functions and business units on matters related to:
- Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) compliance
- Cybersecurity (CyberSec)
- Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives
- Kaizen improvement processes
- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Serve as a liaison to provide linkages and clarifications between corporate functions and business units on matters related to:
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or related field
- Around two to three years of working experience in a strategic business planning or corporate strategy role. Prior experience in the media advertising and AdTech industry would be an advantage. Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects with short timeline.
Skills
- Keen understanding of business research, risk, and audit matters
- Assertive, meticulous, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good analytical and writing skills. Able to review simple legal contracts
- Familiarity with basic accounting/mathematic principles
- Intermediate to Advance working knowledge for Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Words
