Senior / Executive, Risk Management

Job Purpose
This position will report to Senior Manager, Strategy, Risk & Sustainability (SRS), and is pivotal in strengthening risk management and sustainability across Trains, driving continuous operational improvement across the various Groups. This is key to ensuring that SMRT Trains continue to provide a safe & reliable railway service and in a sustainable manner to support all the organisational objectives.
This position demands strong interpersonal skills to create partnership with stakeholders and strong language skills for report writing. The candidate should be able to work independently with a positive and inquisitive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the review of the Trains Risk Management (RM) framework, policy and process, ensuring robust governance and internal controls
- Proactively identify, assess and monitor key risks to Trains deliverables through business environmental scanning and qualitative risk analysis
- Explore, lead and collaborate in risk management and sustainability initiatives
- Design and conduct training and workshops for risk and sustainability awareness
- Prepare reports and perform secretariat duties at Board, Management and Key Stakeholders meetings.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in any discipline
- Experience in risk management and any similar role is an advantage

- Possess strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively across all levels of stakeholders and help drive sustainable cultural changes.
- Possess strong analytical, process management and implementation skills, sensitivity to issues, strong facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and under pressure of tight timeline, self- motivated, resourceful and organized.
