Senior Executive/Executive, Kaizen & Organisational Excellence


Job Purpose


Reporting to Branch Manager, Kaizen & Organisational Excellence, you will be responsible for leading & driving Kaizen Culture in SMRT.




•    Oversee and report Kaizen productivity performance.
•    Random verification of Kaizen project submissions especially those with high savings.
•    Engage staff via various channels and events e.g., video clips sharing; showcase projects via Kaizen @ Workplace.
•    Organise and facilitate Kaizen Awards, Events and Workshops.
•    Harmonise L1 in Kaizen through Kaizen Reps Meeting, to actively promote the culture of Kaizen and Organisational Excellence.
•    Administrator for Kaizen portal, PowerBi, Kaizen Workplace.
•    Secretary for Kaizen Rep Committee monthly meeting.
•    Ad-hoc assignments by BM or Head, TSSQ.

Qualifications & Work Experience


1.    Degree in Engineering/Business from a recognised institution with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience. 
2.    Prior Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black belt) will be preferred.
3.    Knowledge of Sharepoint & PowerBi would be an advantage.



•    Good understanding of Kaizen methodology and Lean Six Sigma principles.
•    Good facilitation skill in events or workshops.
•    Possess a pleasant and cheerful disposition with good interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
•    Exhibit passion in continuous improvement and have the ability to drive changes to achieve Kaizen culture.
•    Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•    Ability to multi-tasking working on a few initiatives.

•    Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking skills, with keen ability to grasp issues and acquire knowledge in new domains
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage interactions within internal media platform.
•    Strong interpersonal skills to build influence and communicate effectively across diverse groups
•    Good Microsoft office knowledge (Excel, power-point, charts, workplace, etc)
