Senior Manager, IT Quality & Risk Management

Job Purpose
The primary role of the appointed Lead/Senior Manager is to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of SMRT’s quality and risk management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies. This covers risk assessments, quality assurance initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration and acts as the strategic interface between IT and business units to promote high quality assurance processes.
In addition, he/she provides strategic leadership and improves operational management for all enterprise-level IT systems that support core business functions.
Responsibilities
- Quality & Risk Management
-Ensuring Enterprise IT systems adhere to SMRT Quality and Risk Management Framework.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Enterprise IT quality assurance processes.
-Collaborate with operations line 1 and line 2 to align and formalize the necessary standard operation procedures ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements.
- Strategic Leadership
-Oversee Enterprise IT Governance framework and ensure audit readiness.
-Act as the primary liaison between SMRT and appointed auditors for various audits for compliance.
- Operational Excellence
-Ensure Enterprise IT systems adherence to internal controls and risk management protocols.
-Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and cost optimization.
-Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Proven track record in enterprise-level IT systems management and compliance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of IT audit processes, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
