Senior Manager, Marketing

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager, Marketing (Commercial Focus) supports the Head of Marketing in leading Stellar Lifestyle and Stellar Ace’s commercial marketing strategy and execution across Sales, Partnerships, and Advertising.

 

This role drives the development of marketing narratives, sales partnership proposals, and advertiser engagement initiatives that strengthen the company’s positioning as Singapore’s largest transit retail and media ecosystem. The incumbent acts as the commercial marketing lead, bridging crossfunctional collaboration between Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to achieve business growth and non-fare revenue targets.

 

Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Commercial Marketing

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that enhance Stellar’s commercial and advertising propositions.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans supporting advertising sales.
  • Create go-to-market frameworks, sales kits, and promotional toolkits to support new product launches and partnership campaigns.

 

2. Partnerships & Ideation Pitch Development

  • Lead the preparation of marketing proposals, pitch decks, and partnership presentations for key clients and tenders.
  • Craft compelling, data-backed commercial stories and post-campaign summaries for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Brand & Communications, and DataPro teams to ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions.

 

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Support the Head of Marketing in commercial planning, stakeholder presentations, and partnership engagement.
  • Mentor junior executives within the Partnerships and WINK teams, fostering professional growth and skill development.
  • Strengthen collaboration across Brand & Comms, Creative, and Short-Term Lease pillars to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.


4. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish frameworks for tracking marketing ROI, partnership pipeline performance, and advertiser satisfaction.
  • Consolidate data and insights into quarterly performance reports for management and executive review

Qualifications & Work Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Mass Communications.
  • Postgraduate or professional certification in Marketing, Advertising, or Brand Strategy preferred.

 

Experience

  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing or business development, ideally in media and advertising environments. 
  • Proven ability to develop commercial proposals, drive marketing campaigns, and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management.

Proficient in interpreting marketing performance data, sales trends, and audience analytics to guide decision-making. Able to identify key insights, draw actionable recommendations, and measure campaign ROI using data dashboards and marketing analytics tools.

Builds trusted relationships across departments and hierarchies. Communicates clearly and professionally to align cross-functional teams toward common objectives. Skilled in managing expectations and fostering collaboration among Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Creative teams.
