Senior/ Systems Analyst

 

Job Purpose

 

We are seeking a Maximo Technical Consultant to support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. The role involves collaborating with the Functional team or Business Users to gather requirements and convert them into corresponding Maximo solutions.

Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within IBM Maximo.
  • Customize Maximo User Interface to fit into Business Functions
  • Configure Maximo applications, Modules and workflows to meet client specifications
  • Customize Maximo applications using Java, MBOs, Automation scripts and escalations
  • Develop and maintain BIRT reports and KPIs.
  • Integrate Maximo with external systems using webservices, APIs with SAP and other external systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Maximo-related issues.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Document technical specifications, Test cases and perform system integration testing.
  • Respond to user queries and provide resolutions to the issues.
  • Manage system incident tickets/service request to ensure SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out root-cause analysis, contribute to knowledge base, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology.
  • Any other relevant tasks assigned by the managers

Qualifications & Work Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems,  or related field with at least 4 years of experience with Maximo.
  • Proven experience in Maximo Technical consultant or similar role
  • Experience with Maximo Integration frameworks such as MIF

Skills

 

Technical skills include:

 

  • Proficiency in Automation Scripts (Python), BIRT Reports, Java, JavaScript, XML and related technologies
  • Working experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge in Asset Management, Maintenance Processes, and Inventory Management.

 

Generic skills include:

 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with vendors and other team members to troubleshoot complex/interface issues and document solutions.
