Senior/Executive Compliance Branch

Job Purpose

The Executive / Senior Executive, Compliance Branch, facilitates the execution of safety-related audits and inspections within SMRT Trains.  This position will work closely with all Lines and Division within SMRT Trains, as well as internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities are as listed below. The list is not exhaustive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

• Execute risk-based audit and inspection programmes for the SMRT Trains’ Lines and Divisions based on the approved audit and inspection plan.
• Validate ground compliance to established authorised operating documents, work instructions and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and deliver audit and inspection reports, including to Senior Management.
• Track and monitor corrective actions arising from audits and inspections.
• Trend and provide regular updates to Management on outcomes of audits and inspections.
• Provide advice to stakeholders (management, representatives, employees, etc.) on auit and inspections matters.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution, preferably in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety related studies
• Possess ISO 9001 and/or 45001 auditor credentials is advantageous
• At least 2 years experience in conducting audits and inspection in similar or related industry
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Power BI.
• Proficient in audit report writing.
