Store Officer
Job Purpose
To be responsible for providing logistic support for SMRT departments and assisting in all logistic matters.
Responsibilities
1. To perform inbound (e.g. receiving of incoming parts/goods and binning to location) and outbound activities (e.g. Issue, delivery, collection) to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
2. To perform any other warehouse activities such as scrap and disposal, stock take, return of stores, transportation of stores and store housekeeping etc., ensuring an efficient and safe workplace.
3. To uphold stock integrity by performing all activities due diligence.
4. To attend to internal and external customer needs and to improve quality of logistics services.
5. To assist in Ad-hoc matters concerning logistic support administration duties.
6. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
7. To report immediately to leader of any discrepancy / risks to day-to-day operation.
8. To operate safely on all the necessary machineries /equipment in work area.
9. To ensure general cleanliness of store/ warehouse for a safe working environment.
10. Comply with safety, health and operational quality standards.
11. Actively support overtime and plant to plant support when operation required. Work on weekend and public holiday (P/H) duty when planned (estimated Min. one weekend per month and P/H on rotate basis).
12. To report for duties and to perform tasks as assigned to him by the leader.
13. To support in delivery if needed. (With Class 3 / 4 licenses).
Qualifications & Work Experience
1. O, N-Level, NITEC / Higher NITEC in Logistics Services
2. Candidate with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in store operations and supply chain will have added advantage.
3. 5 days’ work per week and able to work independently as well as a team player.
Skills
1. Knowledge of Kaizen and possess of Class 3 / 4 driving license & forklift certification in advantage.
2. Good computer skills and knowledge of SAP application in advantage.
